Holographic Seal and Labels
There are two types of holographic seals
and labels available based on the basic substrate used. They are
1. Polyester-based
Labels
2. Paper
based labels
Polyester-based Label
The
self-adhesive polyester based label is ideal for general use where high
security is not a main priority. The main uses for this type of label
include promotional labeling uses and seals for packages e.g. cosmetics
and CDs. It is made from a polyester film, making it very versatile, and
easily applicable either by hand or machine. Serial numbering can be
printed onto the label for track and trace purposes.

Paper-based Label
The
paper-based label can be used as a seal, or as an information label,
whilst at the same time providing the authenticity supplied by the
holographic strip. The paper label is ideal for cases where additional
labels are needed, such as food and beverage packages where ingredients
and nutritional information must be provided. The paper label will work as
a two-in-one label in these cases. Any attempt to remove it will result in
the label tearing.
